Complex Systems
I rewatched a video from 2016 again this morning, and I felt so in sync I want to stop and take notes.
I told myself I would let it run and I will take everything in. That I would later find the time to rewatch it and take notes to explore the ideas further.
But no, I did not have the time today.
There were many, many good things Dave Snowden said in that talk, but I will just explore one:
>Managing the present to create a new direction of travel is more important than creating false expectations about how things could be in the future.
This is such a powerful way of thinking.
He then goes on to say:
>It s about time we start dealing with the reality of our day-to-day and stop talking about how we would like things to be in five year s time.
