Images in Blog!
The jobsinenglish.dk blog now can handle images [nerdy post]
I had an ok night last night.
Despite feeling the symptoms of the cold and sore throat, I felt like I was able to get some good sleep.
I set out to "spend" an hour trying to fix the external image provider upload functionality (AKA, using Cloudinary) for [jobsinenglish.dk's](https://jobsinenglish.dk) blog. While I have the blog post ready, including a nice lead magnet, I didn't want to publish a +2.000-word guide with no images.
I succeeded in that I can now upload images alongside by blog posts in production, with one caveat. For some reason I don't understand (probably the simple -rudimentary- implementation I employed) images are not automatically optimised for the web, which both Wagtail (the blog engine for Django that I am using) and Cloudinary do by default.
I call this a victory. I will post the blog if I have time later today, if not tomorrow. I will deal with image optimisation another time.
