Your actual needs are small
Remember today that you'd be OK
Reading the daily stoic, this entry which was meant for 29th September, brings about a nice perspective to life and worry.
The gist of it is:
Remember today that you'd be OK. If things suddenly went wrong. Your actual needs are small. There is very little that could happen that would truly threaten your survival. Think about that and adjust your worries and fears accordingly.
So much of the worry and uncertainty I have felt through the years has come from having some impending feeling of doom.
Maybe it has allowed me to remain sharp and non complacent. I've followed my instincts and it's paid off.
But maybe it's taken me to an enhanced or heightened level or stress that hasn't allowed me to enjoy life.
Accepting that uncertainty is a part of life.
